Dr.Weinstock is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He practices general ophthalmology in Canton, Ohio, with a special interest in contact lenses. He holds faculty positions of professor of ophthalmology -Northeast Ohio Medical University, affiliate clinical professor in theCharles E. Schmidt College of Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University, and volunteer professor of ophthalmology - theUniversity of Miami Leonard M. He is the author ofContact Lenses Fitting: a Clinical Text Atlas.This has been translated into German and Spanish. He has authored many articles on contact lenses, practice management, risk management, glaucoma, and cataracts, plus, many others. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on these topics.

Dr. Weinstock is currently a member of the editorial board of many medical publications, writes two monthly newspaper columns, and serves as a consultant in the area of risk management and other topics.

Dr. Weinstock practices ophthalmology in Canton, Ohio, and divides his time between Canton, Ohio, and Boca Raton, Florida. His areas of interest are risk management, medical legal consulting, practice management, and consulting to pharmaceutical companies.

His interest in preventive and consultative medicine stems from his background as an ophthalmology consultant to theU.S. Public Health Service

He has written over 200 articles, published (as an author or coauthor) seven books, and lectured extensively in the United States and around the world on ophthalmology, risk management, practice management, contact lenses, and a variety of topics.

Lecture and writing topics included many topics in ophthalmology as well as risk management and medical legal topics. He has served as a medical legal consultant for attorneys, primarily for the defence, and has served as a consultant for theOhio State Medical Board.He also was director of risk management for a now defunct medical malpractice company.

Besides activities in public-health projects in the United States, he has done volunteer ophthalmology service in El Salvador, Nepal, and Papua, New Guinea.
